Who we are
Pine Barrens Land & Forestry is a forestry mulching and land clearing business operating as a DBA of Teca Farms LLC, based in Pemberton, New Jersey. 1. Information we collect
- Quote and contact forms, and Facebook lead forms. When you request a quote or contact us — on this site or through a Facebook/Meta lead form — we collect the details you provide: your name, phone number, email address, the property address or location for the work, and details about your project.
- Chat widget. If you use the chat on our site, we collect the content of that conversation, including any contact details you share in it. Our chat is AI-assisted — the conversation is processed by our AI service provider so the assistant can respond and help route your request.
- Calls and texts to our business number. When you call or text our business number, calls may be recorded, transcribed, and summarized for quality and record-keeping, and text messages are stored. This helps us keep an accurate record of what was discussed and follow up properly.
- Website analytics and advertising data. Like most websites, we use cookies and tracking pixels (including the Meta Pixel and Google advertising tags) that collect information such as the pages you visit, general device and browser information, and how you interact with our ads.
- Payment information. If you pay us online, your payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store card or bank account numbers on our own systems.
2. How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to your inquiries and provide quotes;
- Schedule and perform the work you've asked about;
- Send service-related communications — quotes, invoices, receipts, and scheduling texts or calls;
- Keep accurate business and financial records;
- Improve our services; and
- Measure and run advertising, including pixel-based advertising and retargeting.
Property addresses you give us may be geocoded — converted into map coordinates — so we can plan scheduling and service-area routing.
3. Text messaging (SMS) terms
Customers may receive service-related text messages from us, such as quotes, scheduling, and follow-ups. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of texts at any time, or reply HELP for help.
Mobile opt-in data and consent are not shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
4. Who we share information with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that help us run our business, and each provider only processes the information needed to provide its service:
- Payment processing — Stripe;
- Phone and text service — our business phone/text provider;
- Email delivery;
- AI-assisted chat and intake processing — Anthropic;
- Website hosting and database — Vercel and Supabase;
- Mapping and geocoding; and
- Advertising platforms — Meta and Google — through their pixels and tags.
We may also disclose information if we're required to do so by law.
5. Cookies and advertising choices
This site uses cookies and pixels for analytics and advertising, including the Meta Pixel and Google tags. You can limit ad personalization through your browser settings, ad blockers, and the ad-preference tools offered by Meta and Google.
6. Data retention and security
We keep records for as long as we need them for business and legal purposes, then dispose of them. We use reasonable safeguards to protect the information we hold. That said, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.
7. Your choices and rights
You can contact us at any time to access, correct, or request deletion of your information. You can opt out of text messages by replying STOP, and marketing emails (where applicable) include an unsubscribe link.
Our services and this site are intended for a business audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the effective date at the top of the page to reflect the latest version.
